Dyrøya Artist Villa offers peace and beautiful nature with views of the sea and mountains. One goal is for this to become an arena for contemporary art that, through activities, contributes to making the house interesting for the residents of the municipality and the county.
We accept applications for residencies from artists and other creative individuals whose work relates to all artistic formats, writing, film, architecture or other creative disciplines. You can apply for three ordinary work stays in 2025.
The artist villa, surrounded by fjords, mountains and sea views, is located in the rural area of Dyrøy municipality in Troms county, in Northern Norway. Here we live and work with art and farming. The region is known for its rich coastal culture, strong community spirit and proximity to both untouched nature and Arctic light.
